Biography:
I am a deal maker and problem solver. I have founded several companies and am always looking for new opportunities where I can add value and expertise. My primary areas of interest are oil & gas drilling and exploration, mineral rights (leasing and acquisition), prospect generation and mergers and acquisitions. I also enjoy real estate, tech start-ups and helping other entrepreneurs thrive.
I grew up on a dairy farm in Kuna Idaho and learned how to love working at a young age. I studied finance and business management at Ricks College and Boise State University. Shortly after college I co-founded Liberty Pioneer Energy Source, Inc (LPES), an oil and gas company. LPES operates wells and midstream assets in Utah and Texas. In 2010 I helped start Rockies Standard Oil Company, LLC (RSOC). RSOC acquired over 1,000,000 acres of mineral rights and subsequently partnered with several major and junior oil companies to develop its assets. In 2016 I co-founded Wasatch Energy Management, LLC (WEM). WEM is a Utah based management and oil and gas exploration company with assets in the Uinta Basin .
My main passion is my family- my wonderful wife Rebecca and 4 kids, 1 girl and 3 boys. I also enjoying cycling, wakesurfing, flying and golf.
