Lynne Wilson earned her bachelor's degree in university studies and nursing from BYU in 1982. In 2003 she earned her master's degree in religious studies from Cardinal Stritch University, and in 2010 she earned her PhD in theology and American history at Marquette University in Milwaukee. Lynne is a regular presenter at the Mormon History Association, Society of Biblical Literature, MormonFair, and Education Week. She has been a volunteer in seminary and institute classes for many years and serves currently as director of the Menlo Park, California Stake institute program. She is the founder of Her most recent book, Christ's Emancipation of Women in the New Testament, is a popular and topical treatment of Christ's transformative teachings about women and children in the historical context of their day. Dow and Lynne are proud parents of seven red-headed children and grandparents of two.
