Biography:
Jon Fischer is the Chief Development Officer of Wetzel’s Pretzels, the second largest pretzel and lemonade concept in the U.S. When it comes to the "4 P's of marketing", Jon is focused on the "P" representing "Place" as he and his team drive real estate development of locations across the country. Jon also oversees marketing the brand franchise opportunity to attract potential franchise candidates. Prior to Wetzel’s Pretzels, Jon worked as the VP of Development for Papa Murphy’s Pizza and the VP of Real Estate for Payless ShoeSource. Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and an MBA, both from Brigham Young University and has held several roles in marketing, finance, strategy, real estate and franchise development throughout his career. Jon enjoys sports (particularly BYU football), songwriting, hiking the Pacific Northwest. He is currently finishing his first fiction novel. He and his wife, Miriam, have three children ages 10-15.
