Biography:

Scott Darrington has been serving as the City Administrator of Pleasant Grove, Utah since 2010. His previous cities that he has managed have been South Ogden, Utah from 2003 to 2010 and Afton, Wyoming from 2000 to 2003.

Scott was encouraged to pursue an MPA degree at BYU by his father, who is a former BYU MPA graduate and city manager. Scott graduated with his MPA degree from the Romney Institute in 1997.

Scott is a former President of the Utah City Manager’s Association and the BYU Alumni and Friends City Management Association. He is also a member of the International City Manager’s Association and has served on various committees for that organization.

Scott served a mission in Birmingham, England and is married to his wife, Becky. They have four children.
