Biography:

Nathan D. Leishman (Nate) is the manager of Missionary and Field Operations, part of the Welfare and Self-Reliance Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In his current assignment, Nate supports more than 8,000 missionaries serving worldwide in Humanitarian and Welfare Services.

Nate has worked for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the past 25 years, and he has served in many positions during that time, including “International Logistics Manager” and “Manager of Bishops’ Storehouse Operations”. During the past 12 years, Nate served in Humanitarian Services as the Disaster Response Manager for the Church, where he had the opportunity to travel to numerous countries to coordinate the Church’s relief efforts.

Nate received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Westminster College and his Master of Public Administration from Brigham Young University. Nate and his wife, Laurie, are the parents of six children and four grandchildren. They reside in Bountiful, Utah.
