Biography:

Brad is the Director of Student Health Services at Brigham Young University. As Director, his responsibilities include responsibility for the Student Health Center, the Student Health Plan, and the MTC Clinic. Additionally, he is the Internship Coordinator for the STDEV 399R/MBS 599 courses. These courses are for students interested in healthcare management.

From November 1993 through June 2014, Brad was President and CEO of Uintah Basin Healthcare in Roosevelt, UT. Uintah Basin Healthcare is an integrated healthcare system consisting of a 49-bed hospital, a 90-bed SNF, two dialysis centers, the region’s EMS provider, and six remote outreach clinics.

Brad received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Brigham Young University and was the Romney/Eyring Scholar in the Marriott School in 1998. He completed an Administrative Fellowship at the Roanoke, Virginia-based Carilion Clinic and began his career with this system, working with Carilion for six years.

Brad is a Certified Medical Practice Executive, past Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, past-Chair of the Utah Digital Health Services Commission, past-Chair of the Utah Hospital and Health Systems Association (UHA), Founding Chair of the Utah Telehealth Network Advisory Board, and was selected as the UHA Outstanding Healthcare Executive in Utah in 2006 and Utah’s AHA Grassroots Champion in 2008.

Brad and his wife, Julie, have seven children. Brad is an avid golfer and follower of BYU sports.
