Biography:

Peggy Cowherd is managing director of materials management for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, responsible for several global supply chain operations including purchasing, printing, distribution, travel, and food services, as well as other global services. Previously she was EVP and CFO of iQor, and formerly CFO of the global travel business services at American Express. Previously, she was chief financial officer of the global technologies business and vice president of the business to business group at American Express. Prior to American Express, Peggy was vice president of the global enterprise technologies business at Goldman Sachs. She also worked as a regional controller of global services at IBM. Peggy held various positions in financial management at IBM, across global services and manufacturing and development businesses. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Connecticut.
