Duke Cowley is the former president of Cowley Companies, a family-owned company encompassing a diverse portfolio of real estate holdings and investments, including more than 1 million square feet of industrial property in the Phoenix area and vacant land holdings throughout the southwestern United States. He is one of the founders of Carioca Oil Company and currently sits on the board of The Cowley Family Foundation. Duke earned his bachelor’s degree in math with a double minor in language and industrial arts from Arizona State University. He served as a full-time missionary in Brazil from 1959 to 1961, as mission president of the Brazil Curitiba Mission from 1980 to 1983, and as director of the Perpetual Education Fund in Brazil in 2003. Duke and Alice have three children, thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
