Social Venture Academy

The Social Venture Academy works with student entrepreneurs to help build socially-minded businesses, connecting them with the resources and knowledge they need to turn their ideas into reality.

Student teams are mentored by Navigators and judges, and can receive funding, through three phases: idea validation, product development, and the venture or launch phase. Teams compete against each other to receive prize money in the Best Idea phase. However, the most substantial financial awards comes from the Best Product and Best Venture competitions where all ventures that reach certain benchmarks and demonstrate high potential can receive funding.
