Professor Receives JFE Award for Finance Research

Finance professor Karl Diether garnered high recognition from the Journal of Financial Economics, receiving second place for his article in the journal’s Fama/DFA Prizes for Capital Markets and Asset Pricing. The award is given annually for papers that demonstrate timely, relevant and high quality scientific research in financial economics.

The university's most prestigious faculty award was presented to finance professor J. Michael Pinegar. Associate accounting professor Cassy Budd and MBA program assistant Christine Roundy were also recognized.
