Biography
Professor Thomas graduated from BYU in 1989 with a MAcc and an emphasis in information systems consulting. She started her career with PwC in San Francisco starting in audit and transferring a few years later to consulting. She left public accounting to serve as project manager of ERP implementations for various companies which transitioned to controller positions for those companies. She most recently served as CFO at Coherex Medical for the past 12 years and overseeing their acquisition by Johnson and Johnson. While working as a CFO, Professor Thomas served as an adjunct professor at BYU for 10 years before joining the School of Accountancy full time in the fall of 2022.
