Biography

Dr. Cindy Wallin Blair is an Associate Professor of Global Supply Chain Management in the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University and was granted the Hazel Speirs Thorsell Research Fellowship. Her award-winning research focuses on buyer-supplier interfaces in both developed and developing countries. She also studies how purchasing organizations work with other functions within the firm to make strategic decisions. Her research has been published in leading academic journals, including Decision Sciences Journal, Journal of Supply Chain Management, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, Journal of Business Logistics,and the International Journal of Production Research.
