Rodrigo Ortigoza
Rodrigo was raised in Bogota, Colombia, and got a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering in Toronto, Canada. He is currently pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in Global Supply Chain Management.
As co-chair of the NAC and Student Engagement Committees in the Marriott School Student Council, Rodrigo launched several initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, Rodrigo has served as President of the Graduate Supply Chain Ops Association (SCOA), as Sherpa student mentor for first-year MBA students, as Multicultural Student Recruiting Manager for the MBA Program, and as Spanish Judge in four Business Language Case Competitions hosted by the Whitmore Global Management Center.
Rodrigo is proud to have represented the Marriott School locally and nationally; first, by manning the Marriott School's float at the BYU Homecoming Parade, and then, by winning First Place for BYU at the 2017 TCU National Supply Chain Case Competition. Rodrigo has also received the honor of being named Eccles Scholar and Hawes Scholar in the BYU MBA program.
