Darron Billeter
Darron Billeter is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Marriott School of Management where he teaches consumer behavior. Prior to joining the faculty at BYU, Darron received a B.S in Statistics from Brigham Young University, a M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Northwestern University, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial Administration (Marketing) from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. Darron is the faculty advisor to the Marketing Association, a club consisting of approximately 500 undergraduate students at Brigham Young University. Darron oversees the Don and Arda Jean Christensen Marketing and Behavioral Lab at BYU.
Professor Billeter’s doctoral training is in consumer judgment and decision making. He is co-chair of the Judgment and Decision-making Winter Symposium at Snowbird, UT which brings together scholars from around the world to discuss cutting-edge research on consumer decision making. His research has been published in the Journal of Consumer Research and the Journal of Marketing Research.
Darron and his wife Robyn met in 2005 in New York City. They now have five children (one girl and four boys) and they are expecting their sixth child in August.
