Fly Fishing with Professor Ramon Zabriskie
Learn fly fishing basics—casting, knots, etc.—from an expert guide and test your skills on the Provo River, a blue-ribbon fishery. Gear will be provided or you may bring your own. Light activity.

Mountain Biking with Professor Mark Widmer
Hit the trail for a vigorous ride along the Wasatch Range. Bikes and helmets will be provided. Sunglasses are recommended. Riders may get wet crossing streams and small rivers. Strenuous activity.

Hiking with Professors Brian Hill and Mat Duerden
Explore Stewart Falls or Big Springs while taking in the splendors of the Wasatch Mountains. Wear comfortable hiking shoes, layered clothing, and a hat. Moderate activity.

Nature Photography with Professor Peter Ward
Sharpen your ability to use light and composition effectively in outdoor photography. Bring your own camera or check out a camera from the school. Stops could include Bridal Veil Falls, Sundance, and other nearby scenery. Light activity.

Rock Climbing with Professor Stacy Taniguchi
Experience the thrill of climbing in beautiful Rock Canyon. Protected routes are available for beginning- or intermediate-climbers. Learn the basics of safe climbing from an expert who has led expeditions on Everest, El Capitan, and McKinley. Climbing gear provided. Moderate/Strenuous activity.
