2018 NAC Student Engagement Luncheon
Lunch Options
- Accounting—Sponsored by the Accounting Society, Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and Beta Alpha Psi. Panel and networking will focus on careers in public accounting.
- Business Strategy and Consulting—Sponsored by the Business Strategy Club and Management Consulting Club. Panel will focus on careers in strategy and consulting.
- Corporate Finance and Commercial Banking—Sponsored by the Corporate Finance Sub-Club. Discussions and case studies will focus on careers in corporate finance.
- Financial Services—Sponsored by the BYU Finance Society. Networking and four separate breakout panel discussions will focus on four different careers: private equity, venture capital, and investment banking; private banking and investing; business valuation and advisory; and real estate.
- Global Supply Chain—Sponsored by the Global Supply Chain Student Association. Panel and discussions will focus on careers in supply chain and internal business.
- Information Systems—Sponsored by the Association for Information Systems. Panel and discussions will focus on careers in information systems.
- Marketing—Sponsored by the Marketing Association. The case studies and networking will focus on careers in marketing.
- Human Resource Management—Sponsored by the Society for Human Resource Management. The panel and discussions will focus on careers in organizational behavior and human resources.
- Healthcare Panel—Sponsored by Healthcare Management Association (HMA) and Healthcare Industry Association (HIA). Panel and discussions will focus on careers in healthcare administration, technology, and product development.
- Experience Design and Management: Design Thinking—Sponsored by the Experience Design and Management Club. In this working lunch, students trained in design thinking will work with NAC members to use design thinking to redesign an aspect of the BYU experience to help better prepare students to successfully enter the workforce. Students will be able to learn from NAC members about strategies to maximize their BYU experience so they can stand out to employers upon graduation.
