Business Languages

At BYU, 11 business language courses have been formed in order to help students be successful internationally. The languages offered include Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. These classes provide useful training preparing students to operate within the multi-lingual corporate environment.

Course material emphasizes business concepts, conversing, reading presenting, resume writing, interviewing skills (in the foreign culture), and expanding business vocabulary. The business language courses are designed to benefit experienced speakers of the language. The class focuses on aspects of the language that are not taught in general language classes or on Latter-day Saint missions.

The benefits from these courses can jumpstart anyone's marketability in this globalized world. The business language courses help refine and develop the necessary language skills to communicate and conduct business. Students will exit with a competitive edge internationally.

Enrollment is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
