The majority of our EMPA graduates receive promotions or career enhancements even before they graduate. Although the program is not designed to provide direct support to students seeking career changes, most students find that the degree opens new doors. Alumni of the EMPA program provide leadership in government, nonprofit management, social ventures, healthcare, education, and government relations.
Upon graduation, our students join a vast network of fellow alumni, many of whom work locally. BYU MPA and EMPA alumni provide a valuable community for career development. Graduates of our program remain closely connected to the program and to each other throughout their careers.
The two websites below provide current employment and salary trends for MPA graduates.
