James Clarke is the CEO of Clarke Capital Partners, a Global Growth Equity and Alternatives Investment Firm, headquartered in Provo, Utah.  In 2001, James founded and led high-tech firm CLEARLINK—growing to 2,000 full-time employees—until it was acquired in 2011 by Pamlico Capital (formerly Wachovia) and now owned by Sykes (NSDQ:SYKE). 

Today, Clarke serves as chair or director on the boards of various private and public companies in the US and abroad, including chairmanship of PetIQ (NSDQ:PETQ), Contour Camera, through its recent private equity sale, and global life science disruptor, Curza. He has also served as a trustee and board member of several universities, as well as regional and global non-profit organizations. Currently, James is a Governor appointed Trustee at Utah Valley University where he serves as Chairman of the Foundation Board and oversees its endowment, which has more than doubled during his first three-year term.

James is married to the former Andrea Earl of Holladay, Utah and they are parents to three children. He is an alumnus of BYU, Harvard Business School and holds a Master’s Degree in Major Programme Management from the University of Oxford, where he has returned to deliver keynote addresses on occasion.
