Biography:

Gunther is an Information Technology (IT) leader who has extensive experience as an IT executive with a Fortune 100 multinational healthcare company. In his career he has had CIO level responsibility for IT for major corporate functional areas including Global Engineering, Quality and Regulatory Affairs. He has also delivered IT services for Manufacturing, Distribution, R&D, Medical Affairs, Sales and Marketing, Finance and HR. He led several innovative IT efforts including establishing the first global, off shore IT delivery partnership, establishing a corporate e-commerce platform, introducing a corporate document management platform and implementing a global maintenance management system using an internal SaaS model. Additionally he served as a board member for IBM's Websphere product line and Cloud Strategies. He is an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University and the University of Utah where he teaches a graduate level Information Technology (IT) Strategy course. Currently, Gunther is pursuing investment and leadership opportunities in early stage growth companies and in emerging technologies.
