Biography:

M’kynzi Lundgreen grew up in Bountiful, Utah, and attended the University of Utah where she received an undergraduate degree in Classics. After working for the American Heart | Stroke Association, she decided to pursue an MPA at the Romney Institute.

During her time as an MPA student, M’kynzi interned with the City of San Antonio’s Center City Development Office. In this capacity, she secured funding for renovations of the country’s third oldest public park, Travis Park, and developed programming for the park. The following year she returned to the City as a budget and management analyst whose primary responsibility was the public works budget. After leaving the budget office, M’kynzi worked in the City Manager’s Office on the master plan for the San Antonio Missions UNESCO World Heritage designation, with the Alamo Master Plan working group, and on the city’s tricentennial celebration. M’kynzi then returned to Utah as the Business and Labor Legislative Policy Analyst for the Utah State Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel.

With her husband, M’kynzi has lived in Italy, South Carolina, and Texas. Each location has shaped her perspective on local, state, federal, and foreign government. Each location has also been filled with opportunities to travel and to meet people from across the world.

M’kynzi now works from home and spends her days chasing a very energetic toddler and doting on a sweet baby. Of all her roles, motherhood has taught her the most and she is blessed to have this time with her family.
