Biography:

Matthew Hartvigsen is the Executive Director of Saprea, a nonprofit that exists to liberate individuals and society from child sexual abuse and its lasting impacts. He has been part of the Saprea team since 2015 and has held a variety of roles—PR and Communications Specialist, Education Manager, Chief Outreach Officer, and now Executive Director.

Prior to being with Saprea, Matthew worked as the Content Director for several web properties at Deseret Digital Media including DeseretNews.com.

Matt represents Saprea as a member of Prevent Together, the National Coalition to Prevent Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation. Matt holds a BA in English from Brigham Young University—Idaho and an MPA from Brigham Young University. His favorite thing to do is spend time with his wife and their four children.
