BYU Team Places Third in Social Responsibility Case Competition

Bold strategy and detailed recommendations helped four Marriott School of Management undergraduates take third in the Milgard Invitational Case Competition on Social Responsibility. This was the first year Brigham Young University participated in the competition, held at the University of Washington, Tacoma, where teams developed strategies to help a company positively impact society.

A team of Brigham Young University MBA students bested competitors from across Utah to win first place and $5,000 in the Association for Corporate Growth Cup Competition. This is the third consecutive year BYU garnered the top spot at the annual event held in Salt Lake City.

Tayler received the AAA Management Accounting Section’s Impact on Management Accounting Practice Award at a conference last month in Orlando, Fla.
