Donate to Sub for Santa

PROVO, Utah – Dec 01, 2014 – Marriott School of Management students and faculty are spreading Christmas cheer to Utah County children during the annual Sub for Santa campaign going on now through Thursday, December 11.

Sponsored by the United Way, the Sub for Santa program has been a special part of the Marriott School’s holiday season for the last 19 years. Thanks to the generosity of the Marriott School community, approximately 250 children will have something to open on December 25.

“This campaign is a very important tradition,” says Scott Jackson, Marriott School student council vice president of events and an accounting senior from Sugar Hill, Ga. “The gifts acquired through this campaign will be the only presents many children in need will receive this Christmas. It's a legacy we are proud to continue.”

A booth located on the first floor of the Tanner Building is manned by volunteers from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, where students and faculty can sign up to donate new, unwrapped gifts. Donations can also be made online at marriottstudent.com.

The Marriott School is located at Brigham Young University, the largest privately owned, church-sponsored university in the United States. The school has nationally recognized programs in accounting, business management, entrepreneurship, finance, information systems and public management. The school’s mission is to prepare men and women of faith, character and professional ability for positions of leadership throughout the world. Approximately 3,000 students are enrolled in the Marriott School’s graduate and undergraduate programs.

The Marriott School community is encouraged to participate in Sub for Santa this holiday season.
